House Judiciary Committee members have requested information about DJI's involvement with local governments, but the ability to investigate DJI is limited.

I'm not sure what useful info PRC could get from our DJI drones, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit that they're trying--they hack us in so many other ways. I'm OK with the US gov't investigating the very likely PRC/DJI connection.

On the bright side, maybe it will result in the US drone industry being subsidized (it wouldn't take much) to produce superior consumer drones--a good use of DARPA funds.

Anticipate years of appeals and there’s no apparent injunction. We’ll see... DJI is still selling.
Disappointed that U.S. House has nothing better to do...

There doesn't appear to be any interest from the Democrats in pursuing it so I think it's pretty clear that the House is not going there.
