Houston TX Mavic Pilots

I'm not sure I understand why it would be more restrictive. I was thinking you could get clearance to fly in restricted airspace (Class D for instance) whereas you couldn't as a hobbyist. What are some ways it's more restrictive ?

Having to get waivers to do things that hobbyist do not have to get waivers for. That’s restrictive.

Seabrook here! There’s a delay with shipping my Zoom, but should have it soon. Looking forward to being a part of the community. I’m pretty close to Ellington Field and JSC, but besides those, if anyone has any intel on any other “be careful” areas, it would be much appreciated!
