How can you choose different radio frequency’s?

I’m trying to get stronger rc signaling, how can you change and choose different radio frequencies?

Yes. 2.4 /5.8. I am inquiring because I seem to get poor connection weak signal displayed on my rc. Nothing blocking my area. Yet, I quickly have to turn my bird around so the rc can regain its connection, and I’m not that far away. By far away I mean , no more than 2000 ft. What can cause this type of disconnect ? Is there a fix for this? Or can it be my antennas are bad?
