That’s a solid point since the FAA registrar is for the individual human person, not the drone.This does bring up an interesting point however. With the new registration rules if you sell your drone you should remove the external FAA markings on it because that number is only registered to you if you're not registered under rule 107.
That's correct.If you register as a hobbyist only under part 336, then the egistration is attached to you, not the drone. Nothing to deregister. But if you registered it under part 107, then it is drone specific
