How many logs are kept?

I've attached the Mavic to my PC - it had 20 log entries on it - is there more than 20 and just the first 20 kept?

I have a feeling its more than 20 flights but the logs don't show this.

I don't know if there is a max number of logs or just a max storage size available to store them. Either way, the new logs will eventually start overwriting the oldest logs.

If interested, you can use DatCon to view the contents of the logs.

I got mine off eBay - it looks like they got it on the 10th Nov. The 20 logs on the device show it flown only in December.

I guess they didn't open the box for 3 weeks then flew it lots for a week before putting it on eBay. It was sold as "new"!

There is a given amount of space and the oldest gets overwritten when full, so number can vary. Every power up created a log, so powering up several times to quickly check something will result in many small logs, but flying at lot will show up as few huge logs. From experience it seems the memory can hold around 8-10 full flight logs.

That's useful to know - I don't know much about how the logs work.

The some of the logs are 450MB - I have a suspicion they got it 4 weeks ago - flew it quite a bit. Then sold it on eBay as "new - tested"

I only have 16 logs worth - but as I say many of those are quite big.

450MB is a standard flight from a full to empty battery.

It suspect its been flown frequently for 4 weeks so I'm sending it back - the seller has agreed to give a full refund.

I should never have bought off eBay - desperation got the better of me.

Just curious, if it works ok for you and like it did you try to get a "used condition" (partial) refund, or does he prefer to try hooking someone else with a return?

As soon as I contacted the seller to say it has was not new but used they immediately offered me a refund if I returned it. They didn't give me any other option.

It may well have been fine - even if it has been crashed a few times. But I just decided paying way over the odds for a used and possibly crashed Mavic was not a good idea.

So I accepted their offer of a refund and returned it. I think I'll just wait a few more months in the hope one of the pre-orders I have comes good.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Hopefully the withdrawals won't be too bad.
