My advice is - start with something small and cheap. you are going to crash, so by not having to worry about costs, you will learn a lot faster. It is a blast, much more fun than flying a camera drone that is not made to hit things on a daily basisim actually interested in getting into quad racing, any advice?
Shouldn't the optics have prevented that?1, but technically I wasn't flying it at the time. It was Active Tracking me and ran into a branch.

No but I'm thinking I should look into itdid you get dji care?
Sure......thought it was flying forward...DJI care saved me...got a new droneNot if u were flying sideways or backwards at the time
I walked in between two trees. The branches of both trees were on it's sides. It moved to the side to keep me in frame, and the props got caught in the leaves. It snagged the gimbal cable. DJI Care replaced it.Shouldn't the optics have prevented that?
i would be really scared to fly indoorsJust once. The typical flying indoors and......hit a table leg and dropped from bout a foot and a half up
