I know about trees and branches etc, but can the Mini 3 Pro detect overhead cables, telephone lines etc - in flight mode or RTH mode?

I also flew over electric power supplies for the trains yesterday. Would electricity interfere with any functions flying over the electrified railway pylons if the drone got a bit too close?

Paul.

The Reality of all the Sensors are if you are going slow enough it is possible.
Thus if your going to fast all Obstacle Sensors increase in Total Failure. This is KEY

One of the Best ways to test this is to fly low into the Waves , you will notice with each wave on the ocean the drone will pop up , however go to fast and you will be Popping the drone up yourself.

Not so great with wires, branches, and small things. Much better with brick walls. Electrical interference can always occur. Every electrical component in the drone is an antenna to some degree. Intensity and frequency of the stray signal will dictate if the drone reacts to it or no. Funny story, In Germany we had a Mars (Military affiliated radio station) on base. A lot of the folks in the barracks had high end audio gear that they could get a great prices. In the evening the ionosphere rises and it is necessary to increase the power on the radio transmitters. Totally fried one guys receiver, smoke and all. Funny now, not then.
