How to connect smart controller to windows 10 laptop?

I tried connecting my DJI smart controller to my asus gaming laptop windows 10 and it didn't work, does anyone know how to make it work so that my laptop screen is my fpv screen from my transmitter? I understand that the hdmi ports on my laptop and smart transmitter are for projected the display to a tv or compatible monitor.

I think you need to use the HDMI output and need a device that accepts that as input. I'm not sure if you can CAST from the controller to that laptop.
