I'm becoming more familiar with Litchi but I can't figure out how to program a straight up vertical ascent with the camera pitch following a POI. It seems I would have to stack 2 waypoints on top of each other. Can anybody help pls??

That's what I've done myself... I create the second waypoint with the desired height then drag it over the first waypoint... I leave a little gap so I can differentiate between the two WPs when I zoom in...

Yuppers, that's how you do it.

It's a common mistake to think of waypoints as 2D positions on a map, 'cause that's how we interact with them in planning a mission. However, they are truly 3D locations, so it doesn't make sense to talk about changing altitude while at a waypoint -- a waypoint is a fixed point in 3D space.
