Great info here, so I thought I’d register. New Mavic Pro (Best Buy Price Matched at $780), But not new to small camera drones.

Previous Licensed Private Pilot, not current though.

Flew the MP last weekend on a trip to the Sandhills of Nebraska. Flawless performance by the Mavic, but a bit to learn about camera settings. I owned a commercial photo/video/graphics studio for 30 years, so I’m familiar with digital imaging. The footage I captured was generally too hot, but I was concentrating on flight characteristics.

I hope to contribute to the conversation, but hopefully avoid the “Lost Mavic, Crashed Mavic” part of the forum!
