That is about the same as what you would pay through eBay from a Korean seller once you've added the taxes and shipping charges. If you click on "Sold By" you can see the seller's rating. If their rating looks good, you'll probably be okay.

Thanks.My only concern with Korean sellers is customs+duty fees and if unit is DOA or develops issues within 30 days it can be returned easily as Amazon fulfills it.

I understand and was only providing that info so you had a basis for determining the fairness of the price on Amazon. I have no interest in persuading anyone to buy from a particular source.

I share your concerns about buying from overseas. So far I have purchase twice from a Korean seller, and the transactions were incredibly smooth. I had my drones in 3-4 days each time with no surprises. My latest purchase from a US seller is not going nearly as smoothly.

At the end of the day, it's your money and you should choose whatever seller you feel most comfortable with.

The advertised price for the Creator Combo I got from Korea/eBay was $3,395. Shipping was $250 and Tax was 208.09. Total was $3,925.09

I bought 2 Mini 5s and a camera from South Korea, no issues. Took about 7 days total each time I ordered.

The seller paid the tariff in both cases. It's a big selling point for many of the Korean sellers.

So with the amazon price being $4k and assuming an average sales tax of 7%, the amazon price would be $4280 after tax making the cost of buying from amazon and easy returns ~$355. That could definitely be worth it for some people for peace of mind, but for me I went the Korea route.

I get 5% back on a Chase Amazon credit card so it helps(by 3% vs my general use card)with the tax.

To be fair, these Amazon offers have only recently appeared at reasonable prices, shipped by Amazon, offered as 2 day Prime, so you'll know within 48 hours whether it's real or not. Previously, eBay from South Korea was the only option.

Guessing the seller is foreign based and just paying Amazon for the listing and shipping as do all Amazon 3rd party sellers.
