I Just lost my Mavic 3

There is light at the end of the tunnel. Still is not in email but check the chat!!!
NO Pilot error base in the analysis. This is concerning for Mavic 3 owners.

@zeusfl I was wondering if by chance you inspected the props by removing them or left them on during transport in bag ect.
I am just curious nothing more? I have always had a fear of one of those three tabs breaking off and locking up the motor in flight. I worked in the plastics field for many years and have seen flow lines in the tabs of a few props over the years and never was comfortable using them.

I never remove props but in all my drones as habit before every flight I inspect props just in case and make sure they have no play. I also make sure the props are all the way open to avoid motor vibrations when starts.

The drone was literally flipped off= Bird strike?

I have had similar problems. I bought a Mavic-3 and RC Pro driver a month ago. There is no trust for this yet. The previous one was and still is the Mavic-2 Pro and Smart Controller. This works great! Greetings from Finnish Lapland!

My current main drone is now the Mavic Air 2S that is a bullet proof drone with same or better capacity than the Mavic 2 Pro except the aperture can not be adjusted in the air. Until DJI fix the problems with the Mavic 3 will be a non reliable drone for me.
 
Honestly I won't be picking up the M3 untill these things are fixed. I believe dji can get it right in 4-6 months, maybe before

Wow another lost Mavic 3.

My next one will be a Mavic Air 2S for sure.

I have been doing some reading about Apple Air Tags and maybe putting one of these on my next investment. Does anyone know if the GPS for the air tags will cause any kind of grief for with the GPS of the Mavic? I know some use Marco Polo for tracking their drone during a situation like this.

Airtags should be fine, have seen peoples posts here already using them, the silicone holder stuck to the battery on one that I recall.
Get a bright white strobe like a FHT ARCII, small and gives off bright light you could see in foliage of a tree, bushes, etc when close.

I've been following this thread from the start, good to see it is having a positive outcome with a replacement drone being offered free of charge from DJI, it would seem from recent events that DJI are more likely to offer a replacement drone for the Mavic 3 model than previous models, it looks increasingly likely that they now realize that the model was released for purchase too soon, with the high-end specs, & the lack of operating aspects of the drone with regard to firmware limitations - then the end result was going to result in a high percentage of sales ending in malfunction even if some operator error was involved. Currently, the situation is that this model is receiving more end user complaints due to lack of functionality & reliability than any previous models this is then placing pressure on DJI public relations to be more lenient to claim or repair aspects. I had the misfortune to have my Mavic 3 clip a small tree branch invisible to the RC Pro screen & result in a drone motor shut down & a 20ft tumble resulting in a gimbal motor damage situation, I sent off my Mavic 3 (no DJI Care Refresh) expecting a massive bill...... not so total bill was £77 inc two way postage from UK to Netherlands resulting in a brand new Mavic 3 arriving instead of the repaired scuffed original, thank you DJI
