Looks like the $100 trade in offer doesn't apply to people outside USA. I placed the order for Hero 7 Black and decided to keep my Hero 4 Black which still works very good. Since I'm in Canada it was so much easier to decide to keep old one

No. I am referring to the Hero Black. The Hero White does not have the "hyper smooth" feature.

I thought of that too but a quick check of my 100 plus posts over the last year without ever pitching a product would seemingly undermine such concerns.

The title and the post were my exact sentiments.

It was an amazing deal that gopro presumably yanked once preorder numbers showed such a promotion unnecessary.
