@Basleroy nicely captured. I like the mix of drone and camera shots. I envy you being able to go there, witness, and capture such a spectacular event. Well done!

Just wondering how far away is your launch spot from the actual volcano? What is the furthest distance you have to fly to get those shots? How high do you have to stay so your drone doesn’t get damaged from the heat when you are over or near a lava flow or near the steam?

Thanks! It really was amazing. The first day(April 12) I was really close to the volcano maybe something like 50m not sure. The second time I was further away (May 3). It's hard to say how far. Maybe somewhere around 500m. I don't how close you can get without damaging your drone. Other people went closer to the volcano then me with the drone. I wanted my drone back in 1 piece
