My sixpence worth, , once everything is working never allow updates to your phone, app or drone.
If it’s not broke don’t fix.
Saying that, I am guilty in updating but only after reading others comments and experiences.
Had to buy IPhone 12 Pro which is plenty powerful for the hungry app.
Also using IPad Air as my IPad 4 was showing too many CPU overloads, freezing screen etc.
