iPad Air 2 ok for 4K video editing?

Hello all. I am completely new to this forum. I own a Mavic Pro and am just beginning to get into videography. I have an iPad Air 2 and was wanting advice on if it is capable of editing 4K video? I can’t afford a new computer to manage this so was hoping with a recommended app I could do with my iPad Air 2. Apologies if I am posting something repetitive but not sure how to navigate this group. Thanks in advance.

Sure you can with iMovie, but I would think a real computer would be better.

works fine but has its limitations. I do some on my iPhone X but get better results with my desktop using adobe.

You can always buy a 5th or 6th iPad and use that if your Air 2 is too slow. Those are far less than a computer

Thank you all for your replies and advice. I do have an old desktop computer but am guessing it will need upgrading to manage video editing. What is the best software program to use? Adobe Premiere?

For an old computer, you can downscale your 4K to 1080p first and then have a smooth workflow. There is no really visual difference.

I have since purchased an iPad Pro and it works great! I just have to get my head around colour grading and other post edits.
