So how come places like Best Buy etc don’t sell the mounts for iPads..or do they?

I hate having to order from Amazon, sometimes I’d rather just pick it up

i believe its because there are so many different accessories for drones, that it is not worth them stocking such things, people tend to search the Web for such items ,or go to specialist stores that supply drones and accessories

I missed the days of the Radio Shack stores.

If you needed a relay, a patch cord, etc. chances are they would have it.

And it seemed like every town had a Radio Shack.

The reviews and ratings on Amazon are usually pretty accurate when taken as a whole and throwing out the outliers. I also like the variety on Amazon vs. the selection at brick and mortar shops are usually pretty limited.

HAD being the operative word! There just does not seem to be any shops anymore that supplies what Radio Shack supplied. Where do you go today, to just buy a simple on off toggle switch, for example?

I miss Radio Shack!!

I assume most of us resort to "InterWeeb".
