Besides using an HDMI cable you can stream your controller tablet screen using ChromeCast for android, or Apple TV for Pad or iPhone.

There are many reasons why folks might avoid wanting to go outside besides weather, health issues, angry wives, jilted lovers, or processor servers, etc. So give the poor guy a break and help him out rather than humiliate.
