apparently my Mini 3 will be with me on Monday the 30th May including the fly more kit as well.
cant wait to try out the new dji rc never had a controller with built in screen before
as you can imagine i am well chuffed
ordered on release day so not really had to wait to long for it ,but it does feel an age ago when you are waiting

Where did you get the Fly More from?
I've completely failed and on every waiting list i can think of!

i ordered it at the same time as i ordered the drone direct from DJI guess i was one of the lucky ones

Guess so.
I think im on about 7 different "notify me" and 1 x £5 deposit pre-order so far and not heard a thing.
Given up on the much needed ND filters for now!

Week long hike next week so with only 1 battery im going to be relying on a USB power bank to charge in the daytime and top power bank up at night.

I shall also be "well chuffed" or otherwise "puffed with fat" (a Yorkshire expression of extreme happiness) if I receive my Mini 3 Pro DJI RC, expected mid-week, but without the Flymore Kit Plus option (with heavier batteries).
Did you (Old Man Mavic) order the Fly More Kit Plus option or just the regular sized batteries?

Which one have you ordered? Getting very good reviews and I understand quieter than some of the other craft.

I just saw a video review this morning that suggested that the second USB-C port on the DJI RC could accept a dongle that would allow you to output HDMI video in real time.

Does anybody have any solid info about that?

Thx.

USB-C shouldn't need a dongle. It can output display directly (i use it on my monitor here in DP Alt).
The question is whether DJI have enabled the firmware to do so.
At the moment the answer seems to be not.

i ordered the drone with dji rc +the fly more kit with standard batteries+care refresh on release day, and they are all coming together, according to the email i received from dji and then DHL UK

Not likely.
The guess was, that you can hook up a 4/5G dongle in countries, where this is sold (PRC). That would correspond to the 2 holes on the back for improved stability.

DJI is segregating their product lines more and more and I guess, if the Mini 3 Pro will ever be compatible to the RC Pro, that is the way they want you to go instead, if you need HDMI out.

Perhaps cause for optimism about the future, then!

If the DJI RC could output live video that can be displayed on a large monitor, and the only way I could get the DJI RC would be to buy the Mini-3, that might be a reason to accelerate my timeline for getting it.

"2 holes on the back for improved stability" -- ???

If there RC Pro were to become broadly compatible with all DJI drones, I'd just break down an buy one.
