As @CanadaDrone pointed out here (Link) that was pretty much expectable if we consider the size of the gimbal case, which nonetheless got bigger due to the 2 lens setup and sensors. No way they could fit an optical zoom into this with reasonable quality.

Would have been a banger but physically just not possible.
