L shaped Data cable replacement

Hi, has anyone tried this L shaped data cable on Mavic?

I have the link from a post in dji forum, but nobody specified if it works or not.
I have been getting disconnected from the app lately and it reconnects after I unplug then replug the original dji cable from the controller.
I am using a iphone 5S by the way.

Yes I got one in today and lost connections 3 times during flight. Landed and used my old one without hitch.The new one is junk for this use. It works ok to charge my iPad but not fly my Mavic with it.
