Yep, I will pay very close attention from now on. That was not a suitable place to fly.well for a start you could be a better pilot by not flying so close to trees
not to mention the birds on the water, that would have been spooked by your drone if you had managed to miss the tree
I was watching the drone, and not the screen. You flew into a tree! Trees are not your friend. Were you watching the drone? Were you watching the screen?
Indeed, I don't know what came over me to try and go between the trees. Or maybe use the C mode. Really should have just ascended and leave it at that. You tried to be too daring, I see no reason to try to go between the trees. If you are inclined to try something similar do it in stages, move a little, stop, check the image, move as required, stop.................and if there is any wind stay well away.
Be wary around waterfowl.
Excellent suggestion, thank you!may i suggest that you find a nice tree free field and practice your drone control by flying squares with the drone facing away from you
then face the drone towards you and see the difference that makes to how the drone moves in relation to the stick movement, practice flying circles then figure of eights and get used to how the drone responds to the stick inputs i know it sounds boring but believe me ,there will come a point when you get the hang of it ,and you will find that your flying becomes much more enjoyable ,even after several years of flying ,i will still find a quiet spot and fly a battery just doing the things i described, it helps to keep my muscle memory up to date ,and knowing how to make those movments has saved me from disaster on several occasions
Or upside down with a drone camera on the groundTrees.
Better captured with a land camera.
With just a slight gust of wind trees DO MOVE.Seriously, trees don't move. Drone do. So best to always be conservative and careful in flying when doing those dramatic shots.
I read a post that the size of the crosshairs is also the size of the Mini.Use the cross hair which tells you precisely where the drone is going. At this point you should have released all the sticks and then apply forward stick only.
An interesting idea but it would need an "at a distance of......." follow up. You can, after all, hide the moon with your thumb etc.I read a post that the size of the crosshairs is also the size of the Mini.
Agreed! ?Well, I say, Hug a Tree today. Just don’t do it with your drone??
