Linking and Binding Aircraft to RC

I have the same issue as @jimmyey I bought a used drone that is bound to the previous owner. Any way to unbind remotely? Maybe he can go into his account and do it?

The previous owner just needs to open DJI Fly, click Profile, click Device Management, and then click the "Remove Device from Account" button.

I am having trouble with this, I have 3 controllers, the original smart controller, the new rc pro, and the stock remote. After binding with my dji account I am unable to link any of my other controllers without first unbinding and then link and bind to the new one. Are there any issues doing this often?
