Yes, but if you read all of "DJI_Lisa"'s comments linked above, she actually claimed that if a function wasn't included in DJI's native app, then the functionality can't possibly be included in the SDK. We know from the past that this hasn't been the case with previous DJI drones. But yes, you're correct, the firmware itself would need to support it for it to be possible.

Was able to do some waypoints via virtual sticks today.

That looks really smooth to me - I'm assuming that it's using virtual sticks but the turns look very smooth! It looks rather easy to set up waypoints in the field as well. I'll be interested to learn more about this one. Thanks for sharing!
