Litchi Maps

I use a WiFi Android device and I have downloaded the base UK Map in Go4, however can I do the same or similar in Litchi?

Maps in Litchi work in similar fashion.

I've tried do cache the maps in order to fly without wifi coverage, it works in Litchi as long as you keep the Android turned on from the momment the maps were cached.

Otherwise the maps are gone, I wish there was a way to cache even after turning off my tablet (maybe there is, I'm unaware)

Never tried such large area, but I understand the maps work just like DJI GO.

You can have a taste using Mission Hub - Litchi

In go on the front end menu you can select the maps to download, either Scotland, Wales, England or entire UK, then various countries or the entire world if you want to and have enough storage. Cant find anything similar in my Litchi app.

Am I right in saying that the offline maps in Go are street maps, not satellite view? Still of some use I guess but not as useful as being able to cache a Google-Earth type view.

That is true, but at least it gives you some idea where you are!!!
