Nowhere close. You need to get out of London really. There are a couple of London parks that are apparently ok but drones seem to be out of favour in London for some reason,.

I fly, albeit low, in a park in Battersea. Gives you confidence and I haven't been above 100 ft.
Keep clear of people, dogs etc.
I put the prop guards on to mitigate dogs getting injured, as they are the unpredictable element of the whole thing.
Have fun but be sensible.

I agree, dogs and inquisitive passers by seem to be the biggest threat for a peaceful, uneventful flight.
