Ive read in some posts that the DJI goggles are great but lots of members seem to either find them heavy or dont use them much. Not everyone but the reasons concern me. Any suggestions for goggles that accommodate glasses wearer and are not too heavy. Either wireless or wired works with pro 2.

I have the DJI white goggles and enjoy them. You’re right in that I don’t use them real often because they are an immersive experience and really need someone with you to maintain VLOS and just as important to keep track of the world around you. I often fly by myself so this is a limitation. There are a number of alternatives and many have advantages over DJI but DGI do have the capability for head tracking of the gimbal and yaw. I also really enjoy viewing and sharing previously captured 360 panos where you can look around by moving your head. They do not seem heavy to me unless you wear them for hours on end.

The only goggles that work with the Pro2 are the DJI Goggles and Goggles RE (RE preferred since they are dual band), so it's not like you have much choice.

If you want to use something else you have to get a smart controller and hook the goggles to the SC's HDMI out which is expensive and cumbersome.

I use my goggles most of the time I fly my Mavic or Mavic 2.

I have booth white and RE goggles, don't use them all the time, but they are a unique experience, especially with head tracking deployed.
The white goggles can be had quite cheaply on ebay nowdays.
I never use them for more than 20 minutes,so little or no discomfort.

My goal is to use the goggles in the hills on BLM. Land we have gold claims where i enjoy thinking about flying over and seeing what i cant see from below. Generally never anyone around.

Question some DJI goggles say FPV and others do not but look the same???
FPV stands for First Person View, you see what the camera sees. Technically all goggles are FPV but colloquially the acronym seems to be used more with racing drones.

The "DJI Goggles" (white) and "DJI Goggles RE" (same look but black/red) are what you want. The "DJI FPV Goggles" that look completely different with the 4 antennas sticking out are a different and incompatible system.

Post links when you have questions about something so we can know what you're talking about.

I don't use them all the time but they are awesome and accommodate glasses.
