Lost image transmission with iphone 7??

So I am just sitting in my room with Iphone 7 in the remote for mavic and going over settings. I was doing this for about 45 minutes and all the sudden it loses image transmission when I'm like 3 feet from it???
I checked and the lightning cable was firmly plugged in.

Is there any solution for this? It also happened while flying the day before and it was like 40 feet from me.

I just closed the app and reopened and it came back, but still, thats a problem.

Most claim that changing the cord will fix this problem. I still fly with the little one supplied with the controller,and have no problems with a iPhone 7+. I also fly using "airplane mode" on my phone,and don't let the app load video's on the phone.
