M4 Pro Battery issues

I like the bird's eye view and the picture and video at the same time. And I really like talking about drones and the profession.

It doesn't matter. The batteries will be new, the reason is most likely the electrolyte that dropped and we're filming again.

Watch the drone, I would demand a replacement. It doesn't have to be right away, when you decide there will be time. If the charging box is "in color", there is 100% some electrolyte in the drone too. The contacts will be in worse condition, if they aren't already, the structure where they just fit is softening. ECT....

I don't demand it, but I say "replace the drone too!"

DJI reads these comments several times. A lot of information, even if they didn't read them, they know what to do for a good relationship with the customer.

I have no final decision from DJI received until now, but I looked with strong lights into the drone, there is nothing on the contacts. Difficult to change this too.

But let us wait, today I expect an official answer.

It will be difficult to accurately inspect the contacts in the drone. The battery is loaded even when it is discharging. If the battery is leaking electrolyte, it is leaking even when it is at rest.

Hint that you should also replace the drone as a preventive measure. The technicians will repair the drone without any arguments! We get refurbished drones anyway, if you return it to them as a complaint. I replaced it, I complained to them 3x Mavic 3 pro, just saying.

Here is the final update on my battery problem.
DJI replaced the 2 batteries for me, including the charging station, and everything went smoothly.

I had to dispose of the two batteries in a hurry yesterday, as one of the defective batteries had blown up within a day. The other one didn't, but in the end I disposed of both to be on the safe side.

DJI asked exactly what had happened, but in the end I was able to credibly state that the batteries did not have a moisture problem. From a technical point of view, the two will probably have outgassed, releasing the electrolytes. The third battery still has no problem and was never stored separately from the two defective ones.

A good outcome but still spooky with the dud batteries.

I now have two M4P's and nine batteries so I am certainly on the lookout for any signs of unruly behavior.

I‘ve loaded the 2 new ones and the old one yesterday, everything ok (that’s what I expect). I will have a look the next days, need the stuff on my norway trip starting friday for a week. I think everything is fine now..
