I finally decided my piloting skills were good enough to do this, so today I tried to orbit a 150m tall antenna. Got somewhat nervous when avoidance sensors went down the moment I begun orbiting, as it was too dark, but still did a few orbits. I think I was at about 5 metres or so, as per the airdata flight logs.

Enjoy!

looks cool.

Hi,

Good piloting there :)

It's possibly worth looking at Litchi and a website called spiral maker for litchi from a guy called Wes Barrett. You can use Google earth to plan all sorts of spirals including rising helix and you can add in additional points before and after the spiral to combine it all on a pre-programmed mission. You can use google earth to check how it will look with virtual litchi mission. Obviously locations change when new buildings go up, so it's necessary to be aware Google earth is not infallable.

This is something I did at the local park to have a play with it.

It was my understanding that the Mavic Air 2 was not yet supported by litchi

Correct. Not until DJI release the SDK.
