Well, it had to happen. And if a snippet tweeted by DJI leaker @OsitaLV is true, the long goodbye is underway for the Mavic 2 Pro series.

It's presumably not that simple, since they only just launched the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced, which is the same basic platform and uses the same batteries.

I've been concerned about this. But as you point out, the M2EA uses the same batteries (well, basically, they have the "self-heating" feature and cost $50 more) which makes me feel a bit better. I'm somewhat worried about DJI products going forward though, given the battery issue.

I thought DJI would wait until the RemoteID issues were worked out before releasing an M3.

With the competition pretty much always lagging behind, they pretty much set their own time tables... and have been for some time now.

Exactly, luckily for M2P/Z owners.
As long as the M2E platform is kept on, should be ok for a while.
