MAVIC 2 Pro Video Downsizing

Hi everyone,

I am having strange poor quality output when I shoot 4k then downsize to 1080P. Using Final Cut Pro.

Drone is set as:

1. DLog-M
2. MOV
3. H265
4. 3840 x 2160

The 4k is really crisp. When I drop it into a 1080P project and output at any codec (4.2.2., H264, etc.) the result is really out of focus and unusable. Downsizing from 4k to 1080P with a time lapse shot with my Nikon D850's is fine. Looks to be isolated to the drone footage and I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I put it in the Apple forums and some of the members were stunned at the horrible quality. So they downloaded my 4k and got similar results, so it's not my system.

4k Version: VID_1738 seal rock 4k.mov

Appreciate any insight you might have.
