I noticed that one of my batteries I use with my Mavic 2 Zoom has a slight swelling. It fits in the drone and works fine is there anything I do besides keep an eye on it?
Thanks I will look into DJI maybe replaceing itFrankly, I wouldn't fly with it. The swelling is due to gassing within the sealed battery cells. As the drone climbs higher into lower pressure air, and as the battery generates internal heat during discharge, that swelling increases beyond what you see on the ground. It's just not worth the risk to lose your drone.
There was a bad batch of batteries for the M2, I think before I bought mine in November. IIRC, DJI replaced those batteries when they failed. Worth looking into.
Hope it's in 6 month warranty and under 100 charges.DJI won't give you 2 seconds leeway or 1 charge over 100.They stink. Thanks I will look into DJI maybe replaceing it
