Mavic 2 Zoom pan and tilt not working

Just received my M2Z and tried it, when I touch the screen it goes to auto focus (square). I'm quite sure to have updated to latest firmware. My phone is an iPhone 7 plus (sits above the controller with a bracket, phone is too big for traditional fit). Anyone got an idea ?

You have to touch and hold, then swipe.

as I mentioned, when I touch the screen and hold I get the 'auto focus' square, not the blue circle.
