I have a Mavic 3 Classic that was purchased in May 2023. I flew it yesterday using 2 batteries that were both charged to 100 percent. They were showing approximately 23 percent charge remaining when the drone landed. Today when I attempted to recharge the batteries, neither battery would charge further than 2 LED's. The battery info screen on the DJI Air app on my controller showed both batteries with all 4 cells at 3.78 V and a total battery voltage of 15.13 V and a battery temperature of 22.3°C. It also listed a battery cycle count of 21. I did some research online to try to figure out how to fix this. One suggestion was to update the drone firmware which supposedly updates the battery firmware as well. I did this and the firmware was updated to V01..00.0800 which is the most recent version. The problem still persists. Thank you very much in advance to anyone out there in the DJI community that can help me solve this issue.

Not a battery expert but are you using a super fast charger in the DJI super fast charging hub for the M3?

Have you tried draining the battery down low to single digits and try to recharge from there?

How are you charging these Batteries? Do the two lights blink? like twice per second? If so your charging voltage or current is too high for the battery.
You may also have a BMS error such as a short.
You can try the following sometimes it works for the lucky.
Turn on the batterty and set it down and leave it for about 10 min.
plug in the charger after the 10 min-- DO NOT TOUCH the power button while plugging in.
check the plugged in Battery in 1 hour. If your Battery is still blinking after one hour, It is gone or needs internal service. Send it in.........

@Ron Fisher Did you happen to switch to a different charging brick? How much wattage does it have? (e.g. If you're using a 25w charger, it may not have the voltage to charge past a certain point.)

I would check your charging source.

Hi. Thanks for your response. I’m using the plug-in charger that came with the drone and attaching it to the drone through the USB-C port on the back with the battery installed in the drone. The first LED is solid and the second continuously blinks.

UPDATE - After waiting hours for the batteries to charge I decided to leave it on on charge overnight and, to my surprise, it showed it was fully charged in the morning. So I did the same for the second battery, left it on charge all day and it showed a full charge when I returned home. When I installed the first battery the LED’s immediately went back to 2 LED’s and the third flashing with the battery info showing 3.92 V per cell. The second battery stayed at 4 LED’s and the battery info showed all 4 cells at 4.25 V each and a total of 17.00V. So, the question becomes why did it take so long? Also, is it safe to fly the drone after this incident? Thanks again for your assistance!
