The battery level shown as flight time varies according to location and how the drone is being flown. Might you have been looking at that instead of the battery level % figure?

Yeah might have been, when you switch flight modes you can also see that as well obviously when the drone is them not drawing so much power on its return to home flight calcs

I had something similar happen in the fly app with a mini2 about a year ago. The battery level indicator on the screen froze. Aircraft started landing since it was only about 15m away from me.

On the next flight the battery indicator froze as well. After updating the fly app I haven't experienced the problem.
