I am currently on the 01.01.0100 firmware (released 2023 April) and wish to upgrade to the 01.01.0300 firmware (released in 2023 Sept). However, I do *NOT* want to upgrade to teh latest firmware 01.01.0500 (released in 2023 Dec) because that requires additional registration. How can I do this?

I believe they started requiring additional real name registration for China. That was basically the point of the .500 firmware update
Im traveling here right now. Is it possible to upgrade to a select version of the firmware instead of the larest?
If you have access to a computer you should be able to select which firmware you would like to download. I’m not sure of what you’re attempting to do or change.
If what you have now is working for what you need, really no reason to change unless there’s something in the release notes that you feel is worth the upgrade.

Thanks for the post! It worked after I switched to a different Windows computer. Perhaps it didn't work previously because I tried it on a ARM Win11 laptop... but thanks!
Updates to the Fly App for the controllers with integral screens usually lag the updates for the other controllers.
