Does anyone make detachable landing gear or have heard of plans for them from any 3rd party manufacturers? I've seen them on other Mavics and they look like a good addition.

We’ll see leg extensions, landing gear and other accoutrement for the MA2 offered online in the next couple weeks.

To raise the entire drone about 1" further off the ground. I use PolarPro retractable gear on my Mavic 2.

Keeps your drone from becoming a lawnmower if you are landing/taking off from grass.

Better still, they will save your props from rocks and other hard objects if you have to land on rough surfaces.

I recommend leaning how to safely hand launch and land so you won't need additional accessories like landing gears. There are some nice YouTube tutorials that demonstrate the concept.

Thats the way I usually landed my Autel drone, it was easier. I will learn that with the MA2 also. Until then I have a half sheet of plywood I can use on the ground to land and takeoff from for now. That is, when I get my drone on Monday ?
