So, I've read the posts about binding the Air 2S to it's controller but it's not working for me. I'm not sure what the issue is. After sending it to DDS for repair, apparently they were able to bind it, but it won't bind to my controller. I did notice that the lights on the controller were white as opposed to the green ones showing on the controller in the app. I'm not sure if maybe it's the wrong controller. Also, the two backlights are solid red, and the two front solid green. I believe it's supposed to be yellow but not sure. I couldn't find any videos on YouTube either pertaining to binding but I did follow the instructions posted in similar threads: turn on the controller and the drone, hold down the power button until it beeps (mine beeps several times), etc.) Anyway, it's just not working, any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK that's an Air 2 RC, white LEDs and "Tripod" marking on left postition, while the one of the Mini2/Air2S/M3 has green LEDs and Cine marking.

I believe it's compatible but a firmware update was required for the RC, see if there's one.

Do you know what firmware version? I don't see one currently

The firmware I have currently on the RC says 02.00.1200. Is that old firmware?

Ok, I figured out to use DJI Assisstant 2 but it only lets me pair and Inspire II

Ok, now I figured out I'd downloaded the wrong version of Assistant. Got the right version but it says it cannot load firmware. What's wrong?

Like all my other drone friends, l need help every once in a while. It all started when I flew my Dji air2s, when I flew it the remote would make a beeping sound only when blades were turning , PS it could be my tablet making the noise is hard to tell? This all started when I did a firmware update. Now the problem is with my my Air2s and my Mini 2. I can't link the remotes to either drone. Now I am stuck with two bricks. Can someone help me
Dji Support was not much help.
Thanks Doug

Don't do as I did. I have a MA2 and could not get it to bind with the smart controller. Spend hours on it and even re-set the controller. Then while I was watching a video I noticed something. The first selection, which I was choosing was for the Air 2S and not the Air 2. Once I selected the right one, bamm! It linked. The other problem was the the RC needed recalibrated. I was getting a white led as well. If you need quick help with this, let me know. Took awhile to figure out how to do it.

Ok, so I figured out how to update the controller. Apparently, I needed to use the Assistant 2 for the Air 2S instead of the Air 2. Kind of strange considering it's an Air 2 controller. Anyway, that's over. I'll test later to see if the issue is resolved and I can bind to my Air 2S. Thanks for all the help!

I updated the firmware and it's all working again! Thanks!
