What do you use the mounting for?

Mounting? Sorry, I don't understand the question bud. They snap on your batteries to meet the requirement that battery terminals be covered during flights.

I said this before, but I will say it again. Excellent design.(if you can figure out how to get them off...LOL) I printed in two colors....4 batteries. The last battery used I snap on a red one, and number all my batteries, so I ensure they are rotated in use evenly. The rest I printed in black...you get the idea.

Oh ok. I have taken more than a dozen domestic and international flights with the Mavic and this has not come up. I guess I was lucky?
