First of all...Howdy....I'm new here.
I've been lurking awhile now and have learned a lot. But now I have a question that I'm pretty sure has never been asked..
Recently the plastic clip on the gimble cover broke and bubble wouldn't stay attached so I glued it back on with super glue.....I'm a dummy...the next day , I noticed that the video feed appeared hazey. Upon close inspection of the gimble I noticed a white haze over the gimble components including the camera lens. I believe it's called a gasover.
My question is....is the camera lens glass or plastic and if it's glass, is it coated with something that acetone will harm if I use it.
It's there a better solution to remove the white haze then a q-tip and acetone ?

How hard is it to change the lens and are special tools needed ?

Tools required:

1 PH00 screwdriver

2 pairs of pliers for pulling the lens from the motor assembly. Be careful when pulling it apart, the silver LVDS cable is in there and can break.

1 roll of duct tape any color. I always duct tape the outside of the camera barrel and the motor assembly before pulling it apart.
