Hey Guys,

New around here and mostly just read up on all-things Mavic. Anyway, I've noticed since day one a fairly distinct "wobble" effect from my Mavic [video below]. Even stationary it does this most of the time, but then for brief periods of flight it might be OK. I've read up a bunch on similar issues but haven't seen any quite like this ... bad gimbal, return to DJI?

Is the gimbal secured underneath the 3 holding tabs? If not that can explain the wobbles.

I am not the expert (msinger is) but it might be that the mavic is not flying steady and the gimbal is trying to compensate. It could be that one of the props is not good anymore due to a dent or a little crack. Try to remove them and check them very securely. If one of them is damaged, replace it. Make sure that you secure the props thoroughly back on the mavic. You don't want to lose a prop midair.

If that is not the issue, try to recalibrate the gimbal on your app on your mobile device. If that does not work refresh the latest firmware on the mavic and the controller on your computer with DJI Assistant 2.

Thats what I would do. Hope it works for you.

Happy Flying

Are you running the latest firmware?

How did you fix it?

I just received my replacement and I noticed in C4K resolution it’s very noticeable but in 4K and 2.7K I don’t see it (will post videos up tomorrow)
