Mavic Mini 1 vs. Mini 2 comparison

What has remote size got to do with AC size and weight?
Very little. If you're a backpacker, you may be concerned primarily with the total weight carried, so adding weight to one is just as bad as adding weight to the other. Other people are primarily concerned with AC weight for regulatory reasons, and don't care about RC weight unless it gets too heavy to lift. Some mostly care about volume, not weight (the folding arms make the drone smaller for transport, not lighter).

DJI obviously thought the bigger MM2 RC was acceptable for their customers. That was right for some, wrong for others.

Well after going from mini1 to mini2, granted the mini 2 has a higher spec but there are things that I miss about the mini1
1 Dronelink
2 batteries stayed fullycharged and cool
3 ability to yaw when in RTH and get great fly-by shots with ease
4 the bag that comes with the combo set up is horrible, doesn’t protect anything and you have to rummage through it
5 I could fly further with mini 1 +yaggies in open countryside than mini2
6 a lot of the upgrades to the mini 2 was done with firmware which was left out of mini 1
This is just my opinion,
