Hi All. My second post here, so go easy on me. I would like to ask two things. Ok here goes. I just bought a Mavic Mini. The lead that goes from my phone is a 'C' type. But the one on the handset does not look like the usual micro USB that a lot of gadgets have now. As there are no obvious sloping sides of the socket like what the plug has. It looks like if one does not get it the right way round. Damage could be caused to the controller socket. I know what some of you will come back and say. Which is "It's obvious which way round it goes by the way it the lead lays between phone and controller" Yes I agree. But it would have been nice of DJI to put a regular charging socket in.
OK. Next is I wrongly purchased the basic Mini kit. I now wish I had bought the one with a charger and extra batteries. So the question is......Where can I but a genuine charger and the extra batteries from? Rather the Ch*na. Yes, again I think you are going to say Ch*na. I know they ain't cheap. So I am braced for how much they are.
Thanks in advance people. Dave in Suffolk United Kingdom.
PS. I forgot to mention that if Mini owners in the UK are tempted to add stickers to flash their drone up a bit. It makes the drone over the 250-gram max weight. As stickers, you can buy on eBay weigh 2 grams. Petty I know. But worth a mention. Check it out on Youtube.

We have the individual batteries in stock. But do not have the charging hub outside of the Fly More Combos.

You might want to buy the flymore combo, don't use in the combo what you already have (AC, RC, one of the batteries) and sell them unused.
After all, for less than the price of two batteries you get much more.

The side port is a USB Micro A port, which is compatible with a Micro B plug. It's A because when connected to your device, it operates as an A device. If your PC had a micro port, that's the shape it would be.

If you look closely to the right of the port, you'll see an imprint showing which way a B plug should go for charging and connecting to a PC for firmware updates. The smaller side goes up.

If you need a longer cable, there are custom cables available for this. Another option is a Micro OTG adapter where you can use your existing full A to whatever cables.

A silver marker is a good idea to pick out the orientation of the socket. You could also try cables with reversible micro usb such as these which relieve the stress on the fragile tongue in the socket.
