Mavic Mini newbie

I just got a MM for Christmas from my smokin' hot wife (even if I didn't get it, I'd still think same! )

I've flown fixed wing RC AC since 1991.

Looking for a info on flying here in WPB FL.

I'm within the no fly zone when President Trump is in town.

My question is, does that include Mavic Mini Recreational pilots as well?

I apologize for the rudimentary Q. I've out of touch with my flying club in the last 2 years (been working on fixing up a 1964 Ford F100), my time is limited.

I've tried to read FAA info and use Airmap. Still want to be 100% sure.

Any hints or links will be greatly appreciated.

NFZs include everyone. Likely your drone won’t take off in the NFZ, but if it will please don’t fly. That is to everyone’s benefit and in an extreme case could result in a hefty fine plus loss of your drone. Remote technology to identify drones and owners is functional.

That's what thought. It's funny explaining this to the family...the look at me like I had lobsters growing out of my ears!

All kidding aside, that's what i've been doing.

What about a drone that is half the weight of the magic mini?

My beautiful wife got it for me and flies pretty good. It uses FHPFPV app.
