I was trying to update my MP to firmware 2018-07-04.
But it was stuck at the updating progress 32%.
Then it said "Update Failed" and the small red font told "undefined 0x020b04" and "Upgrade Error. Restart and retry"
I kept retrying for a number of times, but no luck.
I found battery status was gone when checking battery details.

Even worse, Battery Authentication Failed appears after starting my MP.
And it prevents me from taking it off.

By the way, the charge is totally normal, which means no middle two led issue in my case.
It looks like this brick would become a powerbank anyway.

Any expert gives any hint here?
Appreciate in advance.

Does the battery firmware need updating to match the Mavic firmware?

I noticed your picture shows six battery cells instead of three. Unless things have changed, the Mavic battery should only show three cells. I am not the expert here but I saw an inspire battery image that shows six cells. Could it be that you are trying to load the wrong firmware into the Mavic? Perhaps @Thunderdrones could add his expertise.

Is the issue only with the one battery?
Have you tried the update with a different battery?
Have you tried downgrading? And then upgrading again?

I think the battery info can't be pulled thus 6 cells are shown by default. I don't know which firmware DJI Assistant pushed to my Mavic. It should be the one matched my model.

Yes, it's the only one has this issue, my other three are good.
Yes, I have updated my Mavic to latest version with my other battery.
Yes, I have tried downgrading, with this one, error occurred, others were passed.
Then, upgrading again, same thing happened, this one error, others OK.
I also tried restoring to factory default, but nothing changed.
I suspect the hardware providing battery info or the data pin Mavic pulls battery info from is some kind of not working.
