I was flying over a partially frozen man made large pond about 50 ft up when a seagul flew right in front of my forward accelerating Mavic. I was not in sport mode thankfully otherwise the bird and the drone would have gone down. Either way the sensors work well so those of you who do not have the sensors enabled please do so as it may save you a chuck of money in the future. It scared the bird and me but I would rather have a close call than a direct hit. The drone stopped right before the collision.
Mavic pro forward sensors saved my drone.

Agreed I wish I had it recorded as it was a great save. The bird flew about 5 feet in front of it.
