Mavic Pro - Looking to buy to repair - Are front vision sensors needed for Mavic to start up?

Hi all

I'm considering buying a Mavic Pro and repair it.

It has front red LED's when powered, no rear LED', plays startup tune and powers the gimbal fine but no connection to WIFI or it's Controller.
So I am assuming it's not a simple F/W or Controller Pairing issue.

Seller suspects some main board is dead, but if there are some lights, sound, and the gimbal working, the board must be at least half working?

It has no front vision sensors installed at all. Just empty holes, which is a bit suspect too.

I am wondering. Do the sensors need to be there for the Mavic to work? Like a lock out from starting due to not having sensors.

if You don’t take it, flick it my way. Would mind some spare parts. I have 2 mavic pro drones, so a third half working one could be ok for me.
