Mavic pro with fatsharks.

I read somewhere that the Nvidia k1 shield can be used to mirror the hdmi footage to the fatsharks Dom's (I have the V3). Can anyone confirm this please?

Give these a look unless you already have the Fatsharks. These googles will allow you to see whats outside the googles as it has a camera on the front and offers picture in picture to keep the Mavic in LOS

No , but considering them as they have some pretty good reviews. I like the feature that one can have the surroundings in view as well as the FPV at the same time.

Pretty much. For Phantom Series drones one can add an HDMI output board to the remote controller.

I do that with the litchi app but I like the idea of the output on the tablet and goggles

Yes you can use the Lichti app and set the app to FPV mode and create a split screen on a smaller device like a phone and then slip the phone into a set of Virtual reality Goggles that you strap to your head.
