message while in flight

While in flight my friend flying a mavic 2 zoom had a message on their Ipad say;

"Propeller Guard Mounted, Right/Left sensing is unavailabe. Please ensure safety during flight"

They just took off flying several feet off the ground

any ideas

Side sensors disabled with guards on.

My friend took off from a briefcase just big enough for the drone to fit on and after they landed it and took off again the message dis-appeared. There were no guards on the drone.

The drone thought sensors were blocked so the app warned about the guards. Could have been a dirty lens or very close object. Glad all ok now.
